Look what we made yesterday....

Think before you throw out the toilet roll middles....coz look what you can make with them .....

 

Three flattened toilet roll middles, (sitting on them helps the flattening process!) cover with gorgeous paper, ink round all the edges, punch holes and tie up with ribbon.  Make some inserts or tags for the pockets and voila.... a work of art! 

Use any trinkets to decorate.....

One of the advantages of being a demonstrator is that we can buy and play with products before they are released for sale so that we can show customers just how versatile they are.. here is a fab set called Ciao Baby which will be in our new catalogue on 1st Feb.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!  Hope you all had a great holiday.... It really does go quickly doesn't it and before you can blink we're back to the day job!

Something I have managed to sort out is my next class, which is booked for the 26th Jan.  Usual time, 1pm till 5pm, at the Bishop Beveridge Club in Barrow upon Soar.  We will be making some cards to stock our fabulous card files - made in the December class,  and as usual something 3-D! The cost will be £15 inclusive of all materials and refreshments.

For February. I've decided to host an all day class again, well nearly all day, 11am till 5pm.  The venue will be The Soar Bridge Inn at Barrow upon Soar. We'll be working on our techniques for the first part and then putting them into practice in the afternoon to make something special, after a spot of lunch in the pub!  The cost will be £25 inc all materials, lunch and refreshments or £15 if you want to come just for the afternoon.

And just to prove I'm not in the craft room all the time..... OMG we went to see The Overtones in Nottingham... Fantastic night out with Leanne and Victoria!  Wish we had been in the front row.

 

And then to London over the holidays to see the brilliant Singin' in the Rain!... where the front row was definately not the place to sit as everyone got drenched by the indoor rain!! 

Then off to Twycross Zoo on a cold, miserable Sunday, (no rain?)... yes there was one day .....it was a great day out .... and I definately saw more pink flamingos than in Spain!! (in joke sorry!!)
